Sunny Dhadley is a Spokesperson and Social Leader with lived experience of addiction. Within a decade, Sunny successfully developed an embryonic project and created a respected model that holistically assists others who have been affected by addiction. The model is revered for its effectiveness, professionalism and integrity (noted through receiving the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2014 and in 2018 twice being highlighted as a European Model of Best Practice). He firmly believes that communities themselves have the power to solve their issues and that, without this input such endeavours are often futile and short sighted. He understands the intricacies and complexities that exist within diverse sections of society and speaks up on behalf of the thousands of people that he has assisted, within political and strategic environments.

Sunny was shortlisted for The 2018 Guardian Public Service Awards, in the category for 'Public Servant of the Year’. He has continually championed the voice of the voiceless, and works tirelessly to push boundaries in relation to practice and policy - particularly relating to Drug Policy & Social Justice reform. He claims to be a living example of the potential that lies within each person that is marginalised within society and has provided a practical example of approaches required in order to truly improve the lives of others.

Sunny is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), Operation Black Vote Alumnus, Windsor Leadership Alumnus and a Chartered Manager.
