Anyone's Child Announce Mass Lobby, Meet Your MP Day

Anyone’s Child: Families for Safer Drug Control, the international network of families whose lives have been wrecked by current drug laws and are now campaigning to change them, has announced that they will be organising a ‘mass lobby day’ on June 25th.

The campaign group are rallying the public to contact their local MP, arrange a meeting in Parliament and ‘call on them to put an end to the failed war on drugs’. The group will also be hosting a six day Thames-Path walk, ‘Walk a Mile in Our Shoes’, with the public invited to for any leg of the journey. If you can’t make the walk but would like to donate, please visit the Just Giving site here.

The lobby day will take place the day before the United Nation International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, and will be in collaboration with campaign group Support Don’t Punish. The day is being organised ‘to demonstrate to MPs and the media that there has never been so much support for drug policy reform.’

Confirm your attendance and be kept up-to-date via this Eventbrite link. For more information about how to get involved, visit Anyone’s Child website, or email info@anyoneschild.org.
